Plus Size Fitness Bootcamp and Clean Eating Challenge

I am still excited about being a part of the Plus Size Princess Fitness Challenge.  Coming into the challenge, I was 47 pounds heavier than I was when I moved to New Jersey two and a half years ago.   And while I have continuously said I wanted the extra weight off, I really have not dedicated myself to changing my lifestyle or losing the weight.  I start a plan, I’d stop a plan.  There was absolutely no movement the scale and my motivation sucked.  Well dolls that has all changed!

The #PSPfit challenge has begun to totally change my outlook on the foods I am putting in my body.  A part of the challenge is clean eating.  For me, clean eating has been easy, affordable and doable.  For one, I love veggies.  However, clean eating is much more than fruits and veggies.  It’s learning how to create well balanced meal that promotes your digestion, maintains your caloric intake and aids in weight loss.

On Saturdays, we meet up for our weekly nutrition and workout classes. I will be the first to admit, I just wanted to sit down!  A fat burning aerobic class is serious business.  I am COMPLETELY out of shape and I often found it difficult to keep up.  Rather than stop, I altered the routine to moves I could keep up with… my goal to keep moving.  I succeeded.

By the time we were finished, so were my curls!

I am so excited for week 2, I’m am down 8.6lbs!  I know that is more than the average amount of weight that is suggested for weight loss, but I really think it was a lot of water weight!  To stay update on all things #PSPfit follow the hashtag on Twitter and Instagram!
